Poetry

I've always liked poetry cds because you can play a poem, rewind it, cherish it and keep it as though you wrote it. I would like to create one so heres my try at doing so; if you like it comment. I need as much feedback as I can get.

Nefertari's Fuzzy Pineapple along with other designers from Florida State and Tallahassee Community College showcased their design on the run way, On Saturday April 7th Florida A&M University's architect building was filled with 150 students. There were five designers with 10 models to represent each designer.

Modeling is no joke and I think being a dancer is easier. I arrived at the architect building at the call time but we didn't start on time and our routine was changed several times. But the end result for worth it. I had fun, dressing up and showing off. It's not something I do often so I'm happy I stuck with it through the end. Here are some photos. My make up and hair was done by myself. Apparel and jewelry is from Fuzzy Pineapple.

Black Radiance Lipstick Haul

I bought four lipsticks from CVS. The company is Black Radiance, make-up for women of color. These colors are highly pigmented and last long for a cheap price. This is my first time purchasing lipstick and I would definitely purchase from them in the future. Let me know which color you liked the most. None of these lipsticks were wore with lipliner, just added lipgloss to make it smoother and shine.

News:Michigan Loses Democracy

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow talks about the lack of democracy in Michigan. Apparently, whenever a city in Michigan goes bankrupt then there is an appointed overseer. An overseer or an emergency manager conducts the city according to their rules. Residents still vote in elections but the emergency manager makes the final call. This in my opinion is not a democracy yet America takes pride in promoting fair government. When one person makes a decision for a whole city, that's a dictatorship. Furthermore, it's a coincidence that the cities in Michigan that need an "overseer" have a predominately African-Americans population.

Living Life

It has been a long time since I written a post. I apologize deeply to anyone who encounters my page and wants to see more. I have been busy with school and studying. But most importantly living and learning. I'm on this quest of searching for like minded people and interacting with people who I feel have good vibes. I am spiritual inclined and deeply root to my being. I listen to my body throughly and I understand my spiritual needs.
It takes a lot of courage to listen to your instincts in a world that dictates to you daily. But this does not mean anyone should turn their back on the world and go rogue either. You must learn the way the world works, while walking through with your grace and integrity still intact. Everyone goes through a phase in life where they lose themselves. This is just a test to show the faith you have in yourself. This is a test of survival.
But don't get stuck on survival and forget how to live. Trust yourself you have the answers. You have everything you need. You are resourceful.
