I bought four lipsticks from CVS. The company is Black Radiance, make-up for women of color. These colors are highly pigmented and last long for a cheap price. This is my first time purchasing lipstick and I would definitely purchase from them in the future. Let me know which color you liked the most. None of these lipsticks were wore with lipliner, just added lipgloss to make it smoother and shine.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow talks about the lack of democracy in Michigan. Apparently, whenever a city in Michigan goes bankrupt then there is an appointed overseer. An overseer or an emergency manager conducts the city according to their rules. Residents still vote in elections but the emergency manager makes the final call. This in my opinion is not a democracy yet America takes pride in promoting fair government. When one person makes a decision for a whole city, that's a dictatorship. Furthermore, it's a coincidence that the cities in Michigan that need an "overseer" have a predominately African-Americans population.

It has been a long time since I written a post. I apologize deeply to anyone who encounters my page and wants to see more. I have been busy with school and studying. But most importantly living and learning. I'm on this quest of searching for like minded people and interacting with people who I feel have good vibes. I am spiritual inclined and deeply root to my being. I listen to my body throughly and I understand my spiritual needs.
It takes a lot of courage to listen to your instincts in a world that dictates to you daily. But this does not mean anyone should turn their back on the world and go rogue either. You must learn the way the world works, while walking through with your grace and integrity still intact. Everyone goes through a phase in life where they lose themselves. This is just a test to show the faith you have in yourself. This is a test of survival.
But don't get stuck on survival and forget how to live. Trust yourself you have the answers. You have everything you need. You are resourceful.
I think I like to keep peace and dismiss confrontation.

Every year I go to New York to see my family and friends. It's always an adventure because I make every moment memorable. Whether it's dying my hair for the first time, getting box braids, spending New Year's Eve in Times Square or getting my belly pierced, it's a place of first. But most importantly it's my hometown Yonkers, NY. This is my place of childhood memories and it will always have special place in my heart.
I've always said if I wanted to get a tattoo it has to be meaningful because this is permanent and painful. Mostly permanent and I want to make sure this is something I would not mind having for the rest of my life. It would have to be something that represents who I am and most importantly I wanted to create it myself.
The idea for this tattoo just came to me one in the summer as I was drawing in my sketch book. I was listening to Frank Ocean's Pyramids, such a beautiful song, mesmerizing. I've always had a fascination with Queen Nefertiti of Egypt. Her life is a mystery and to be a queen, how powerful. Past lives are unexplainable emotions but I believe in a past life, I was royalty. My opinion was of value and people looked up to me. I just know in my spirit that I lived a life of royalty at one time. So, here is the creation of my tat.
The placement is my idea and I had a henna tat the year before. I wanted to be sure and that required me to be meticulous and patient. The tat took an hour. Here's a video about my experience of getting my first tattoo.
